Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8

The Vision

Equipping students to hear His voice

Our primary goal this summer is genuine intimacy with Jesus. It's easy for a teenager to get lost in the shallows of phones, noise, and pressure. We want to give your student the confidence to seek the Lord, truly hear His voice, and obey His direction — for the rest of their life.

"Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls…" (Psalm 42:7). God is calling students out of their comfort zones and into the depths of His love.

A dedicated week in Galveston is the ideal place for a spiritual milestone they'll remember for life.

Why They Should Go

Six reasons worth the deep end

This isn't just a beach trip. Every part of the week is built to move a student closer to Jesus — and each of these is rooted in His Word.

Step into the deep

Away from screens, schedules, and noise, there's finally room for God to move. Growth rarely happens in the shallows.

"Put out into deep water, and let down the nets." — Luke 5:4

Learn to hear His voice

We teach students how to quiet their hearts, open the Word, and recognize the Shepherd's voice in their own lives.

"My sheep listen to my voice." — John 10:27

Friendships that anchor faith

The people a student walks with shape who they become. This week forges godly friendships that hold for a lifetime.

"Two are better than one… a cord of three strands." — Ecclesiastes 4:9–12

A milestone to remember

Encounters with God become markers students return to for years — proof of a moment He showed up and met them.

"…that these stones may be a memorial." — Joshua 4:7

Shaped now, while it counts

The teenage years are the soil where lasting faith takes root. Don't wait — God uses students who say yes early.

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young." — 1 Timothy 4:12

Rest for a tired heart

Sun, sea, sabbath, and worship. Sometimes the most spiritual thing a student can do is come away and rest with Jesus.

"Come with me… and get some rest." — Mark 6:31

Hear the call

Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.
Luke 5:4

The Father's Day Challenge

Decide this one together, on your knees

Give God the ultimate Father's Day gift by June 21: seek His face together as a family. Will you help your student learn to hear God's voice about this trip? Here's the countdown to decision day.

until Father's Day — your family's decision day.

STEP 1

Identify

Place the Galveston trip (July 21–24) before Him.

STEP 2

Open Hands

Lay the "yes / no" decision down completely.

STEP 3

Seek Him

Read the Word and pray for clear direction.

STEP 4

Share

Talk through what God showed you with your student.

Honest questions, honest answers

Every parent feels a little friction before a trip like this. Here's how we'd gently reframe it.

How do I know if God even wants my student to go?
You won't know unless you seek His face. Use the 4-step challenge above to find clear direction together.
My student doesn't really know anyone going.
God may want a one-on-one encounter with them — or He's preparing deep new friendships they'd never have made at home.
Will they feel left out or isolated at the beach?
Not a chance. Our team leads intentional, structured efforts to fold every student in and forge lasting friendships.
